Holli Berman, Cantorial Soloist Emerita

Holli (she/her/hers) grew up in Northern California and earned her BA from Barnard College of Columbia University. She served for 25 years as the Cantorial Soloist, a compassionate member of the clergy team of Congregation Har HaShem in Boulder, Colorado, from 1997 to 2022. Her work and passions span from pastoral care and lifecycle rituals, to teaching all ages, to sharing liturgy, laughter, and song from the bima. She created the Har HaShem band Or Zimrah, bringing Jewish music and prayer a contemporary and inspirational edge. Holli and her spouse have raised three wonderful children. They now embark on the next adventure…van life! Holli is exploring the country, making music, crafting rituals, teaching, facilitating, and mentoring along the way…
